Port services

Aktau Port is located on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea, intended for international transportation of various dry cargo, crude oil and petroleum products, as well as for servicing cargo and passenger ferries.
There are transport hubs of several types of transport in the port:
railway, automobile, water and pipeline.

The port of Aktau is a modern multi-purpose terminal with open storage areas (79700 m2) and a covered transit warehouse (2000 m2), providing reliable storage of cargo, including heavy goods.
The port has state bodies and institutions that monitor compliance with the state border regime, customs clearance of goods, sanitary and epidemiological control.

An integrated management system (IMS) has been implemented in the port of Aktau, created on the basis of two systems: a quality management system for compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard and an environmental management system for compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 standard.

The port’s capacity allows for the annual transshipment of up to 4.5 million tons of dry cargo, including 2 million tons of ferry cargo and over 12 million tons of oil cargo.

One of the main divisions of the Aktau port is the loading and unloading complex (PRK). Cargo delivered to the port by road, rail, or water transport is unloaded at the port to a warehouse or reloaded on any of these types of transport. The existing material and technical base allows the Aktau port to provide any types of loading and unloading operations with cargo weighing up to 110 tons.
